Vervis is released under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3
(AGPL3). See the `COPYING.AGPL3` for the license text.

Many of the source files have other licenses though:

- Most of the source code is in the public domain using CC0, see the
  `COPYING.CC0` file
- A few files contain pieces of code copied or adapted from existing code under
  the MIT license, so those files are under MIT license too
- Vervis uses the `pandoc` and `highlighting-kate` Haskell libraries which are
  released under the GPL
