Short paragraph about what is git, then what role it plays in rel4tion. Then subpages/sections for user, admin, developer etc. For client side:
- how to get git
- how to clone, log, status, diff, checkout - basics
- basic user/email config etc.
- how to work - add, commit, format-patch, pull, merge, am, pull requests, tag, push. Mention wiki specific and source specific points is needed, but leave them in general to the Wiki access page and to projects’ own pages
Can be based on:
- What I have in the decentralization project
- git website
- GNOME wiki git page
- Gitorious’ git page if exists
- Wikipedia
- Debian wiki
- Trisquel wiki
It’s not such a big deal, but why not learn from existing material? :)
For the server side there’s the server’s specific details and there’s the general git server guide. Try to get rid of the guide by moving the details to rel4tion specific pages and quickinstructions etc., and link to gitolite online docs where needed. Keep just the parts that are special, e.g. maybe the I2P related stuff and renaming the gitolite3 user to git.
