manual.mdwn

Every Partager project is supposed to have a manual. For programs, it’s a full user manual usually prepared using texinfo. For libraries, it’s an API reference manual and/or a tutorial. Usually they are combined into a single manual generated by doxygen.

For programs, two manuals are supplied - one for the stable version and one for the last release, which may be unstable. For libraries, the last minor release for each stable version is available. However, new libraries may not yet be officially stable, in which case whatever offered is available. Also, for libraries stable and fully ready for any use, which already have several releases, not all of them will be available, e.g. old ones that aren’t used anymore for new development.
