Personal Page

On my personal page mention some things I did (translations etc.) with links to the projects, and explain the status, e.g. where I am or why I stopped etc. But first think: Why would I do that? Would it not be just for “personal glorification”? Why do people need to know what I did? Is is not a result of our ugly capitalism, in which a person is worth what she has done, rather her personality and intentions? It’s reasonable for people on the internet to now know me, but why not let them judge me and my project(s) by who I am instead of by what I do? I don’t like this cold way people evaluate each others, like in jobs where you need to do self glorification through your CV and your “job skills” are tested. Ugly. It sounds good to me to just write about me and not about technical things.
