Introduction
This is a collection of material for a better world. Each item has something to do with morality, ethics and/or global brotherhood. There are probably many others ways to get this content, but it’s usually mixed with many other things, e.g. the big torrent index websites like TPB.
This place is just for those special items. One day all the materials will be like this, and then this collection won’t be necessary.
Two kinds of things are collected:
- Free culture works
- Proprietary material that has cultural and ethical significance
I call the second kind “cultural treasure”. For example, materials about major activists like [[!wikipedia “Mahatma Gandhi”]] and [[!wikipedia “Martin Luther King Jr.”]] may be included here, even if they are technically proprietary. They are far too important to exclude even if the cops will be after you.
How It Works
Everything is published using free formats.
Clearnet torrents are the regular common kind, in which the protocol runs on top of UDP which is on top of IP. These are non-anonymous, i.e. other peers can see your IP address. I2P torrents run inside the [[!wikipedia I2P]] darknet, and are anonymous. Nobody can see your IP address or track your identity. But they are generally a bit slower (still definitely fast enough, I used them a lot), and you need to run an I2P peer for them to work.
If all this IP and darknet talk doesn’t sound familiar to you, just use the clearnet torrents. If you seek anonymity and privacy, install I2P and try the I2P torrents (e.g. using the I2Psnark application).
I’m not yet very knowledgeable about video conversions and ffmpeg. If you didn’t like the quality (too low compared to the 720p source) and have some time or knowledge to help with ffmpeg quality parameter tweaking etc., feel free to contact [[me|fr33domlover]] or write in the [[discussion]] subpage of this page, or open a [[ticket|/tickets]]. Also, if you liked this project, you can join the effort of collecting materials, converting them and making torrents. Any help is welcome.
Naturally, a torrent starts small and grows when more people seed it. Even if you decided to watch a version from another source, please consider seeding the torrents. It helps other people download them faster, and contributes to the availability and censorship resistance of the content.
- ffmpeg and quality
- add descriptions
- add copying/license info
- add ethics status: violence, sex, etc.

Upcoming Items and Ideas
If you just have an idea for an item to add to this list, some inspiring video etc., then instead of opening a new ticket, feel free to add it to the list below. Add a link to Wikipedia if relevant.
